Mika Zibanejad scored twice as the New York Rangers defeated the Washington Capitals 5-3 at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday.
The Rangers (38-19-10) won three of their last four games, thanks to a goal and an assist from Patrick Kane. Igor Shesterkin had 28 saves and an assist, and Vincent Trocheck had two assists.
