The New York Rangers have signed center Vincent Trocheck to a seven-year deal at 5.625 million per year. Trocheck, who just recently turned 29, recorded 51 points with the Carolina Hurricanes last season. Trocheck will solidify the second line center position behind Mika Zibanejad. The Pittsburgh native has a career faceoff percentage number at 52.1% – an area of desperate need for the Blueshirts.

Andrew Copp signed a five-year deal at 5.625 million per year with Detroit. Copp leaves the Rangers after being acquired as a rental during the 2022 trade dealine.

The Blueshirts have 4.4 million to resign Kaapo Kakko and a backup goalie. They also have some vacancies on the fourth line depending on how they feel about certain players. The Rangers could clear 2.5 million in cap space if they can move out Patrik Nemeth which has been long rumored.

LETS GO RANGERS! #NYR
