New York Rangers: Preseason Thoughts and Season Predictions

The Blueshirts’ season is underway! Here are my thoughts. My Thoughts: Don’t panic with… Lias Andersson. Lias Andersson didn’t make the Rangers’ roster out of training camp. This came as a surprise to all of us. However, by no means is Lias Andersson “a bust”. The young Swede failed to crack the roster because there was simply no room for him. Andersson is absolutely capable of playing for the Blueshirts, but it didn’t make sense to keep him with the big club. It’s better for the 19 year-old to play…

These are just my personal player rankings! My 2018 Top 10: 1. Rasmus Dahlin, D, Frolunda HC – It’s quite simple. The puck-moving defenseman has the potential to be better and even more dynamic…

New York Rangers: NHL Draft Preview

With the NHL Draft Lottery in the books, the New York Rangers shift their focus towards the upcoming draft. After not picking in the first round from 2013 through 2016, the Blueshirts selected Lias Andersson and Filip Chytil with the 7th and 21st picks respectively in 2017. New York will look to add to their improving prospect pipeline this June, as they possess three first-round picks, and a total of seven picks in the first three rounds, thanks to Jeff Gorton’s successful trade deadline. Missing out on the consensus top…
